| Sumatra is a large island in Indonesia northwest of Java. Sumatra Mandheling is grown in the mountains close to the port city of Padang, on the west side of the island, at elevation from 2,500 to 5,000 feet. Rich volcanic soils, stable rainfall climate provide an ideal environment for cultivating Mandheling beans for fullest budy, low acidity and rich flavor coffees. |
| Mandheling is the west coast district in which this Sumatran Coffee is produced. Many consider the Mandheling coffees to be among the worlds finest and most admired. You can expect a low-key acidity, heavy (almost syrupy) body with a concentrated and complex flavor. |
